The Minnesota Woodland Owners Weekend (MNWOW) is a workshop designed for woodland owners, nature lovers, and land managers. This workshop was originally scheduled for Friday and Saturday, October 2 and 3 at Saint John’s Abbey and University in Collegeville, Minnesota. But, due to COVID-19, MNWOW will now happen virtually on Saturday, Oct. 3.
Nationally recognized keynote speakers—Lee Frelich, Director of the University of Minnesota Center for Forest Ecology, and Doug Tallamy, author of Nature’s Best Hope and Bringing Nature Home—and local natural resource professions will provide presentations.
You will be given online access to all presentations starting September 26. You can choose to watch all or some of the presentations. Then, on Saturday, Oct. 3, live Question & Answer sessions with the presenters will occur from 7:30 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. using the platform Zoom.
Minnesota Forestry Association, Minnesota Women’s Woodland Network and Outdoor U members receive a $5 discount. Register by August 28 to receive an early registration discount.
Visit Saint John’s OutdoorU website to register, and view the event brochure, session descriptions, and schedule for the live Q&A sessions.
