As part of the County’s Zoning Ordinance, when residents apply for a variance or building permit that may impact water health in the shoreland area they must develop a stormwater management plan with guidance from the SWCD. The plan includes recommendations and concepts for managing stormwater—actual designs (if needed) must be completed by a contractor. There is currently no charge for the site plan.
